Sapelly is a tree that comes from tropical africa. Sapelly wood has a similar appearance to walnut, but with a more pink, reddish or purple color that tends to darken over time. The most appreciated feature of this wood is precisely its resistance to rotting and the durability of the material in the face of the weather, although it is susceptible to being attacked by insects. It is normally used in interior and exterior carpentry, cladding, shipbuilding, decorative items and flooring.
We commercialize Sapelly in planks. Dimensions upon request.
