Sucupira is a tree native to South America, found most abundantly in Brazil. It is a tree that grows to an average height of 18 meters, reaching a trunk of 0.6 meters in diameter. The sucupira has a dark brown color with small golden veins that stand out in the smoothest pieces. It is a very dense and strong wood with an excellent finish. It is normally used in furniture, decorative laminates, floors, beams, pavements and civil construction.
