The Yellow kambala is an African tree better known as Iroko with strong mythological connections. Iroko is linked to longevity, the durability of things. It is a hard wood and very resistant to both rot and insect attack, it is resistant to bending, compression and traction. It is normally used in interior and exterior carpentry, floors, stairs, shipbuilding, cladding and street furniture.
